Creative Reset Challenge | Nov 9–16

Hosted by Photographer and Educator Shelley Paulson

This is a free 3-part group photography experience to help you see light differently, convey connection, and edit with an artist's eye.

Each part will have a short video teaching related to a theme, with instructions on how to create your image. Once you're ready to share, you'll post your image in the theme's album in our Private Facebook group and receive personalized feedback.

Frequently Asked Questions
Yes - no strings attached!
For Themes 1 & 2, please create new work for the theme.
Do your best to find a horse model! Dogs will work in a pinch. 😉
That’s okay! You’ll still learn from the videos and community conversations. However, only those who complete all three themes will be entered into the scholarship drawing.
No. Any camera you can attach lenses to is fine. No mobile phone cameras, please.
30–60 minutes per theme, at your pace.
Posting in the Facebook group is optional, but it’s where most of the learning and connection happen. If you’re shy about sharing, you’re still welcome to participate on your own.
For Theme 3, you’ll need basic editing tools like Lightroom, Photoshop, or any program that lets you adjust color and light. The goal isn’t fancy effects, but intentional refinement.
